beaches and bunnies
We filled our vacation with sun, sand and fun as well as the usual family drama. It was actually better than most of our huge gatherings. It amazes me that we can have so many diverse personalities in one family. Miles of sandy beach and a creature filled creek offered memorable moments.
We came home to find a teeny baby bunny captured by our cat, Cleo. She has already eaten the bunny's sibling and I feel awful. Sarah and I are going to try to take it to a rescue site. Maybe it will make it. I hate it when the rabbits eat our raspberry bushes in the winter, but this baby is so little.

oh my! so saving the other one as snack for later? :) does your cat feel any sense of betrayel here? ;)
while we rescued that little guy, Cleo did in another brother or sister. Planted him/her behind the raspberries. The neighbors are rooting for Cleo - not the bunnies....
ooooh! gotta say - my mom would be rooting for the cat too - since the bunnies and deer do damage to her garden..what a way to go though!
